Blooms For Butterflies

These native plants both serve as moth and butterfly hosts and/or attract the adults to their host plants. Host plants are important for the caterpillars, and nectar plants are how you get the adult butterflies’ attention. If you’ve planted a bunch of host plants and aren’t sure why the butterflies aren’t finding them, try planting their preferred nectar plants near the host plants.
