Keystone Plants

This is technically not my pick (though I my add a few extra that aren’t on the main list). Keystone plants are the ones that host the largest diversity of insects in one way or another – ones that if we were to lose them entirely would result in a massive collapse of species (that specifically host on the species lost).
This is a good starting point, but should not be the only plants you add to your garden if you have room to fit others. What is often neglected in the discussion is the fact that keystones cannot exist in isolation. If you don’t have the rest of the arch, the keystone is just a stone.
Start here, but be sure to add keystone supporting species as well.
